Hi, I'm Josh. Together with Jake, I started this small group for fun and to make a difference for someone else in the world. My wife and I have been supporters of HOPE Worldwide for many years through our donations, service projects, and I even took a trip to Moscow in 2000 to help at an orphanage.
This year, for the International Day Of Giving, I wanted to make it more visible, and feel the sacrifice - quite literally - of giving myself in some way. Normally a clean-shaven dude, I have only grown a beard once, and did not find it to be a pleasant experience. Neither did my wife. This simple act is a challenge for the both of us, and a visible cue to others that to make a difference, we have to be different, and it has to start somewhere. For me, it's my face.
